江楼感旧

独上江楼思渺然，

月光如水水如天。

同来望月人何在，

风景依稀似去年。

Recalling Past Time On

Alone I mount the Riverside Tower and sigh,

To see the moonbeams blend with waves and waves with the sky.

Last year I came to view the moon with my compeers.

But where are they, now that the scene is like last year’s?
