After nearly two years of construction, China’s first deep-space antenna array system was built at the control center’s Kashgar station. It consists of four 35-meter-diameter antennas, three of which are newly built. Its data reception capability is equivalent to that of an antenna with a diameter of 66 meters.
The system was developed to enhance the ground station’s monitoring range and data receiving sensitivity for the country’s deep-space exploration projects. It has been used to track the Mars probe Tianwen-1 and the lunar probe Chang’e-4.
经过近两年建设,我国首个深空天线组阵系统在喀什深空站建成。该系统由四个直径为35米的天线组成,其中三个为新建的,达到等效66米口径天线的数据接收能力。
深空天线组阵系统有助于提升地面站的探测距离和数据接收灵敏度,为我国执行各类深空探测任务提供有力测控支持。该系统已用于“天问一号”、“嫦娥四号”的测控任务。
