\n\t\u8fd9\u662f\u6211\u4e00\u5468\u5185\u8fde\u7eed\u4e24\u6b21\u51fa\u5e2d\u4f26\u6566\u91d1\u878d\u57ce\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\u3002\u4e0a\u5468\u4e94\uff0c\u6211\u66fe\u4e0e\u62c9\u585e\u5c14\u5e02\u957f\u3001\u65b9\u6587\u5efa\u4f1a\u957f\u51fa\u5e2d\u7531\u82f1\u56fd\u4e2d\u56fd\u5546\u4f1a\u4e0e\u4f26\u6566\u91d1\u878d\u57ce\u8054\u5408\u4e3e\u529e\u7684\u201c\u5171\u540c\u6218\u2018\u75ab\u2019\u3001\u7231\u5fc3\u4f20\u9012\u201d\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u6df1\u523b\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u4e2d\u82f1\u4e24\u56fd\u4eba\u6c11\u643a\u624b\u594b\u6218\u3001\u5171\u6297\u75ab\u60c5\u7684\u6df1\u539a\u60c5\u8c0a\u3002<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is the second time in one week that I have attended a City of London event. Last Friday, I joined Lord Mayor Russell and Chairman Fang at the \u201cTogether We Fight against the Virus\u201d event jointly hosted by CCCUK and the City of London. There, I was deeply touched by the profound friendship and strong solidarity between the peoples of our two countries in fighting against Covid-19.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u6211\u4e0e\u5404\u4f4d\u6765\u5bbe\u5171\u540c\u89c1\u8bc1\u4e2d\u82f1\u4f01\u4e1a\u643a\u624b\u52df\u6350\u3001\u5949\u732e\u7231\u5fc3\uff0c\u652f\u6301\u4e2d\u56fd\u6276\u8d2b\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5e2e\u52a9\u4e91\u5357\u7701\u91d1\u5e73\u53bf\u8005\u7c73\u4e61\u5efa\u8bbe\u516c\u5171\u536b\u751f\u8bbe\u65bd\uff0c\u52a9\u529b\u5f53\u5730\u6297\u51fb\u65b0\u51a0\u80ba\u708e\u75ab\u60c5\u3002\u8fd9\u4e24\u573a\u6d3b\u52a8\u65f6\u9694\u4e00\u5468\uff0c\u90fd\u5177\u6709\u91cd\u8981\u610f\u4e49\uff0c\u5f70\u663e\u4e86\u201c\u5927\u7231\u65e0\u7586\u201d\u7684\u4eba\u6587\u5173\u6000\uff0c\u8be0\u91ca\u4e86\u4e09\u4e2a\u91cd\u8981\u201c\u7ebd\u5e26\u201d\uff1a<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tToday is another touching moment. We will witness Chinese and British businesses joining hands to raise fund for a poverty alleviation project in China, a project that will help build public health facilities in Zhemi Town, Jinping County, Yunnan Province and strengthen the capability of local community in the battle against Covid-19.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThese two events are both significant. They both show that love knows no border. They display the three bonds between us. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u4e00\u662f\u5b88\u671b\u4e92\u52a9\u3001\u5171\u514b\u65f6\u8270\u7684\u7ebd\u5e26\u3002\u9762\u5bf9\u8fd9\u573a\u7a81\u5982\u5176\u6765\u7684\u75ab\u60c5\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u82f1\u56fd\u5728\u5185\u7684170\u591a\u4e2a\u56fd\u5bb6\u9886\u5bfc\u4eba\u548c40\u591a\u4e2a\u56fd\u9645\u548c\u5730\u533a\u7ec4\u7ec7\u8d1f\u8d23\u4eba\u4ee5\u5404\u79cd\u65b9\u5f0f\u5bf9\u4e2d\u56fd\u8868\u793a\u6170\u95ee\u548c\u652f\u6301\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6df1\u8868\u611f\u8c22\u3002\u4e2d\u56fd\u4e0d\u4ec5\u5c3d\u6700\u5927\u52aa\u529b\u3001\u505a\u51fa\u5de8\u5927\u727a\u7272\u5728\u56fd\u5185\u9632\u63a7\u75ab\u60c5\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u79ef\u6781\u4e0e\u56fd\u9645\u793e\u4f1a\u5408\u4f5c\u6297\u75ab\uff0c\u540c\u4e16\u536b\u7ec4\u7ec7\u53ca\u6709\u5173\u56fd\u5bb6\u5206\u4eab\u75ab\u60c5\u4fe1\u606f\u3001\u9632\u63a7\u63aa\u65bd\u3001\u8bca\u7597\u65b9\u6848\u548c\u7814\u7a76\u6210\u679c\u3002\u4e2d\u82f1\u5de5\u5546\u754c\u4ee5\u6350\u6b3e\u6350\u7269\u3001\u58f0\u63f4\u7b49\u65b9\u5f0f\u5411\u4e2d\u56fd\u6297\u75ab\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u6709\u529b\u652f\u6301\u548c\u5e2e\u52a9\u3002\u6211\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u201c\u4e2d\u82f1\u516c\u76ca\u201d\u5021\u8bae\u4e00\u5b9a\u80fd\u591f\u53d1\u6325\u66f4\u5927\u4f5c\u7528\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e2d\u82f1\u5408\u4f5c\u5e94\u5bf9\u75ab\u60c5\u3001\u52a0\u5f3a\u516c\u5171\u536b\u751f\u4f53\u7cfb\u80fd\u529b\u5efa\u8bbe\u6ce8\u5165\u65b0\u52a8\u529b\u3002<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first bond is the mutual help between us.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSince the outbreak of COVID-19, more than 170 heads of states or governments and more than 40 heads of international or regional organisations have sent their sympathy and support to China in various ways, for which we are deeply grateful.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tChina has made the utmost efforts and tremendous sacrifice to contain the virus at home. At the same time, we have been actively engaged in cooperation with the rest of the world, including sharing information of the virus, containment measures, treatment methods and research outcomes with WHO and the relevant countries.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn our fight against the epidemic, the Chinese and British business communities have expressed strong support to China and offered help through donations.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tI am sure that the China-UK Charity Initiative will play a bigger role and inject new impetus into our joint efforts in this battle against the epidemic and in enhancing global public health. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u4e8c\u662f\u5171\u8944\u5584\u4e3e\u3001\u4f20\u9012\u7231\u5fc3\u7684\u7ebd\u5e26\u3002\u4f26\u6566\u91d1\u878d\u57ce\u5728\u56fd\u9645\u91d1\u878d\u754c\u4eab\u6709\u76db\u8a89\uff0c\u5728\u91d1\u878d\u670d\u52a1\u3001\u4e13\u4e1a\u670d\u52a1\u7b49\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u4f18\u52bf\u72ec\u6811\u4e00\u5e1c\u3002\u8fd1\u5e74\u6765\uff0c\u4e2d\u56fd\u6df1\u5316\u6539\u9769\u3001\u5bf9\u5916\u5f00\u653e\u6b65\u4f10\u4e0d\u65ad\u52a0\u5feb\uff0c\u7279\u522b\u662f\u91d1\u878d\u9886\u57df\u52a0\u5feb\u5f00\u653e\uff0c\u4e2d\u82f1\u91d1\u878d\u5408\u4f5c\u6f5c\u529b\u5de8\u5927\u3001\u524d\u666f\u5e7f\u9614\u3002\u5728\u65b0\u5f62\u52bf\u4e0b\uff0c\u4e24\u56fd\u5de5\u5546\u754c\u4e0d\u65ad\u6df1\u5316\u516c\u76ca\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u5c06\u5408\u4f5c\u5171\u8d62\u6210\u679c\u66f4\u591a\u5206\u4eab\u7ed9\u4e24\u56fd\u6c11\u4f17\uff0c\u5f70\u663e\u51fa\u5f3a\u70c8\u7684\u793e\u4f1a\u8d23\u4efb\u611f\uff0c\u4e5f\u5145\u5206\u4f53\u73b0\u51fa\u201c\u53d1\u5c55\u6765\u81ea\u793e\u4f1a\u548c\u6c11\u4f17\u3001\u53d1\u5c55\u6210\u679c\u5f52\u4e8e\u793e\u4f1a\u548c\u6c11\u4f17\u201d\u7684\u7406\u5ff5\u3002\u6211\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u201c\u4e2d\u82f1\u516c\u76ca\u201d\u5021\u8bae\u4e00\u5b9a\u80fd\u591f\u4ee5\u5408\u4f5c\u4fc3\u53d1\u5c55\uff0c\u4ee5\u7231\u5fc3\u52a9\u516c\u76ca\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e24\u56fd\u91d1\u878d\u3001\u7ecf\u6d4e\u4ee5\u53ca\u516c\u76ca\u4e8b\u4e1a\u7b49\u9886\u57df\u5408\u4f5c\u6ce8\u5165\u65b0\u52a8\u529b\u3002<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe second bond is our shared commitment to charity.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe City of London is the world\u2019s leading financial centre. It has unique strengths in financial and professional services.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn recent years, China has accelerated the pace of reform and opening up. In particular, the opening up of China\u2019s financial sector has created enormous potential and broad prospects for China-UK cooperation.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tUnder such circumstances, deeper cooperation in charity work between the business communities of our two countries will deliver more win-win outcomes to our peoples. This also shows the high sense of social responsibility of Chinese and British business communities and reflects their belief that \u201cwealth comes from society and should go back to society\u201d.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is my belief that the China-UK Charity Initiative will promote development through cooperation and provide support for public welfare. Your efforts will continue to drive forward China-UK cooperation in financial services, economy and charity work. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u4e09\u662f\u8d23\u4efb\u5171\u62c5\u3001\u547d\u8fd0\u4e0e\u5171\u7684\u7ebd\u5e26\u3002\u8fd9\u573a\u6297\u75ab\u6597\u4e89\u518d\u6b21\u8bc1\u660e\uff0c\u4eba\u7c7b\u793e\u4f1a\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u201c\u4f60\u4e2d\u6709\u6211\u3001\u6211\u4e2d\u6709\u4f60\u201d\u7684\u547d\u8fd0\u5171\u540c\u4f53\u3002\u51cf\u8d2b\u662f\u4eba\u7c7b\u5171\u540c\u7684\u4e8b\u4e1a\uff0c\u662f\u8054\u5408\u56fd2030\u5e74\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u76ee\u6807\u7684\u91cd\u70b9\u3002\u4e2d\u56fd\u4e3a\u4e16\u754c\u51cf\u8d2b\u4e8b\u4e1a\u4f5c\u51fa\u7a81\u51fa\u8d21\u732e\uff0c\u6539\u9769\u5f00\u653e40\u5e74\u6765\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4f7f8\u4ebf5\u5343\u4e07\u4eba\u8131\u8d2b\uff0c\u5bf9\u5168\u7403\u51cf\u8d2b\u8d21\u732e\u7387\u8d85\u8fc770%\u3002\u4e2d\u5171\u5341\u516b\u5927\u4ee5\u6765\uff0c\u4e2d\u56fd\u653f\u5e9c\u5b9e\u65bd\u7cbe\u51c6\u6276\u8d2b\u653f\u7b56\uff0c\u5168\u56fd\u519c\u6751\u8d2b\u56f0\u4eba\u53e3\u4ece2012\u5e74\u672b\u76849899\u4e07\u4eba\u51cf\u5c11\u81f32019\u5e74\u672b\u7684551\u4e07\u4eba\uff0c\u7d2f\u8ba1\u51cf\u5c119348\u4e07\u4eba\u3002\u4eca\u5e74\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u8131\u8d2b\u653b\u575a\u5168\u9762\u6536\u5b98\u4e4b\u5e74\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c06\u52a0\u5927\u5bf9\u8d2b\u56f0\u5730\u533a\u3001\u8d2b\u56f0\u4eba\u53e3\u7684\u5e2e\u6276\u3002\u4eca\u5929\u4e0b\u5348\u5728\u5317\u4eac\uff0c\u4e60\u8fd1\u5e73\u4e3b\u5e2d\u51fa\u5e2d\u51b3\u6218\u51b3\u80dc\u8131\u8d2b\u653b\u575a\u5ea7\u8c08\u4f1a\u5e76\u53d1\u8868\u91cd\u8981\u8bb2\u8bdd\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u52aa\u529b\u514b\u670d\u75ab\u60c5\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\uff0c\u575a\u51b3\u5b8c\u6210\u51b3\u6218\u8131\u8d2b\u653b\u575a\u4efb\u52a1\uff0c\u5f7b\u5e95\u6d88\u9664\u7edd\u5bf9\u8d2b\u56f0\u3002\u5b8c\u6210\u8fd9\u4e00\u4efb\u52a1\u5c06\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u5386\u53f2\u4e43\u81f3\u4eba\u7c7b\u53d1\u5c55\u53f2\u4e0a\u4e00\u4e2a\u6fc0\u52a8\u4eba\u5fc3\u7684\u65f6\u523b\u3002\u201c\u4e2d\u82f1\u516c\u76ca\u201d\u5021\u8bae\u59cb\u7ec8\u5173\u6ce8\u548c\u652f\u6301\u51cf\u8d2b\u4e8b\u4e1a\uff0c\u5728\u82f1\u56fd\u4e2d\u56fd\u5546\u4f1a\u548c\u201c\u4f26\u6566\u91d1\u878d\u57ce\u5e02\u957f\u5021\u8bae\u201d\u56e2\u961f\u79ef\u6781\u63a8\u52a8\u4e0b\uff0c\u53d6\u5f97\u79ef\u6781\u6210\u679c\u3002\u6211\u671f\u5f85\uff0c\u201c\u4e2d\u82f1\u516c\u76ca\u201d\u5021\u8bae\u8d8a\u529e\u8d8a\u597d\uff0c\u4e3a\u4fc3\u8fdb\u4e24\u56fd\u4eba\u6c11\u5171\u540c\u798f\u7949\u505a\u51fa\u65b0\u7684\u66f4\u5927\u8d21\u732e\u3002<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe third bond is our common responsibility for a shared future.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fight against COVID-19 once again proves that mankind are interdependent and live in a community with a shared future. Poverty reduction is a common responsibility of all mankind. It is also a priority in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tChina has made outstanding contribution to the cause of poverty reduction in the world.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the past 40 plus years since the adoption of the reform and opening up policies, China has lifted 850 million people out of poverty, which accounted for more than 70% of the world\u2019s total.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSince the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese Government has adopted targeted poverty alleviation policies, reducing the number of rural people living in poverty from 98.99 million at the end of 2012 to 5.51 million at the end of 2019. That means a total of 93.48 million people have been lifted out of poverty.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis year, China plans to bring our poverty alleviation initiatives to a satisfactory conclusion. To this end, China will step up the efforts to help people living in poverty and poverty-stricken areas. In Beijing this afternoon, President Xi Jinping attended a symposium on winning the decisive battle against poverty and made important remarks. We must make every effort to minimise the impact of the epidemic and achieve our goal of eliminating absolute poverty. The time we achieve this goal will be an exciting moment in the history of China. It will also be a memorable time for the world, as one fifth of all mankind achieves such an extraordinary progress.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPoverty reduction has been a focus of the China-UK Charity Initiative. Thanks to the support from CCCUK and the Lord Mayor\u2019s Appeal, the China-UK Charity Initiative has made remarkable progress. I hope this Initiative will achieve greater success. I am sure you will make new and greater contribution to the common wellbeing of the peoples of our two countries. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tChina and the UK are both major countries of global influence. \n\tThe Chinese people often say, \u201cThe highest virtue is like that of water, nourishing all living beings and at peace with them.\u201d We also believe that \u201clove knows no borders.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere is a similar saying in the West, which goes, \u201cWe make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is my sincere hope that the China-UK Charity Initiative will make even greater progress. I am sure you will give your love, your wisdom and your strength to China-UK friendship and cooperation, and to poverty reduction of the world! <\/span>\n<\/p>\n
