\n       The Chinese nation has always valued human dignity and value.  Even in the ancient days, our ancestors came up with the idea of people being most important, believing that \u201cman is the most valuable among all the things that heaven fosters.\u201d  Progress and development of a society hinge on human progress and development and depend on how well human dignity is maintained and how much human value is realized.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t       \u4e2d\u56fd\u5171\u4ea7\u515a\u9886\u5bfc\u4eba\u6c11\u8fdb\u884c\u9769\u547d\u3001\u5efa\u8bbe\u548c\u6539\u9769\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u8981\u5b9e\u73b0\u5168\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u6c11\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u81ea\u7531\u3001\u6c11\u4e3b\u548c\u4eba\u6743\u3002\u4eca\u5929\u4e2d\u56fd\u6240\u7115\u53d1\u51fa\u6765\u7684\u5de8\u5927\u6d3b\u529b\uff0c\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u6c11\u62e5\u6709\u5e7f\u6cdb\u81ea\u7531\u3001\u6c11\u4e3b\u7684\u751f\u52a8\u5199\u7167\u3002\u4e2d\u56fd\u5728\u516c\u5143\u4e00\u4e16\u7eaa\u4eba\u53e3\u5c31\u5df2\u8fbe\u5230\u8fc7\u516d\u5343\u4e07\u5de6\u53f3\uff0c\u4f17\u591a\u4eba\u53e3\u7684\u8863\u98df\u4f4f\u884c\uff0c\u51e0\u5343\u5e74\u6765\u4e00\u76f4\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u5386\u4ee3\u653f\u5e9c\u6240\u8981\u89e3\u51b3\u7684\u9996\u8981\u4eba\u6743\u95ee\u9898\u3002<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

       The Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people in carrying out revolution, development and reform precisely for the purpose of ensuring the entire Chinese people broad freedoms, democracy and human rights.  The immense vitality displayed by China today is a vivid reflection of the broad freedoms and democratic rights enjoyed by the Chinese people.  China\u2019s population reached around 60 million as early as in the first century.  For several thousands years, to meet the people\u2019s needs for food, clothing, housing and transport has all along been the primary human rights challenge for successive governments in Chinese history.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t       \u4eca\u5929\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u6709\u5341\u4e09\u4ebf\u591a\u4eba\u53e3\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u4e2d\u5927\u56fd\uff0c\u4ecd\u7136\u5fc5\u987b\u9996\u5148\u4fdd\u969c\u6700\u5e7f\u5927\u4eba\u6c11\u7684\u751f\u5b58\u6743\u548c\u53d1\u5c55\u6743\uff0c\u4e0d\u7136\u4e00\u5207\u5176\u4ed6\u6743\u5229\u90fd\u65e0\u4ece\u8c08\u8d77\u3002\u4e2d\u56fd\u786e\u4fdd\u5341\u4e09\u4ebf\u591a\u4eba\u7684\u751f\u5b58\u6743\u548c\u53d1\u5c55\u6743\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u5bf9\u4e16\u754c\u4eba\u6743\u8fdb\u6b65\u4e8b\u4e1a\u7684\u91cd\u5927\u8d21\u732e\u3002<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

       In today\u2019s China, which is a large developing country with a population of over 1.3 billion, top priority should still be given to ensuring the greatest possible majority of its people the rights to subsistence and development.  Otherwise, there would be no other rights to speak of.  To have been able to ensure our people these rights is in itself a major contribution to the progress of the world human rights cause.<\/span><\/p>\n
