\nThis year\u2019s observance of World Oceans Day falls as the world wrestles with the COVID-19 pandemic, a climate crisis and humankind\u2019s continuing assault on oceans, seas and marine resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u5728\u559c\u8fce\u4eca\u5e74\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u6d77\u6d0b\u65e5\u4e4b\u9645\uff0c\u5168\u4e16\u754c\u6b63\u5728\u7aed\u529b\u6297\u51fb2019\u51a0\u72b6\u75c5\u6bd2\u75c5\u5927\u6d41\u884c\uff0c\u5e94\u5bf9\u6c14\u5019\u5371\u673a\uff0c\u6d88\u9664\u6d77\u6d0b\u548c\u6d77\u6d0b\u8d44\u6e90\u906d\u53d7\u7684\u6301\u7eed\u4eba\u4e3a\u4fb5\u5bb3\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

The recently issued Second World Ocean Assessment confirmed that many of the benefits that the global ocean provides to humankind are being undermined by our own actions. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u6700\u8fd1\u53d1\u5e03\u7684\u300a\u7b2c\u4e8c\u6b21\u4e16\u754c\u6d77\u6d0b\u8bc4\u4f30\u300b\u786e\u8ba4\uff0c\u5168\u7403\u6d77\u6d0b\u4e3a\u4eba\u7c7b\u63d0\u4f9b\u7684\u8bb8\u591a\u6548\u76ca\u6b63\u5728\u56e0\u6211\u4eec\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u6240\u4f5c\u6240\u4e3a\u800c\u906d\u5230\u635f\u5bb3\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Our seas are choking with plastic waste, which can be found from the remotest atolls to the deepest ocean trenches. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u6d77\u6d0b\u5145\u65a5\u7740\u5851\u6599\u5783\u573e\uff0c\u4ece\u6700\u504f\u8fdc\u7684\u73af\u7901\u5230\u6700\u6df1\u5904\u7684\u6d77\u6c9f\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5783\u573e\u65e0\u5904\u4e0d\u5728\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Overfishing is causing an annual loss of almost $90 billion in net benefits \u2013 which also heightens the vulnerability of women, who are vital to the survival of small-scale fishing businesses. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u8fc7\u5ea6\u6355\u635e\u6bcf\u5e74\u9020\u6210\u8fd1900\u4ebf\u7f8e\u5143\u7684\u51c0\u6548\u76ca\u635f\u5931\u2014\u2014\u8fd9\u8fd8\u589e\u52a0\u4e86\u5987\u5973\u7684\u8106\u5f31\u6027\uff0c\u5979\u4eec\u5bf9\u5c0f\u89c4\u6a21\u6355\u9c7c\u4f01\u4e1a\u7684\u751f\u5b58\u81f3\u5173\u91cd\u8981\u3002<\/span>
\nCarbon emissions are driving ocean warming and acidification, destroying biodiversity and causing sea level rise that threatens heavily inhabited coastlines. <\/span><\/p>\n

The theme of this year\u2019s observance, \u201cThe Ocean: Life and Livelihoods\u201d, underscores the importance of oceans for the cultural life and economic survival of communities around the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u4eca\u5e74\u5e86\u795d\u6d3b\u52a8\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u662f\u201c\u6d77\u6d0b\uff1a\u751f\u6d3b\u4e0e\u751f\u8ba1\u201d\uff0c\u7740\u91cd\u5f3a\u8c03\u6d77\u6d0b\u5bf9\u4e16\u754c\u5404\u5730\u793e\u533a\u7684\u6587\u5316\u751f\u6d3b\u548c\u7ecf\u6d4e\u751f\u5b58\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

More than three billion people rely on the ocean for their livelihoods, the vast majority in developing countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u8d85\u8fc730\u4ebf\u4eba\u9760\u6d77\u4e3a\u751f\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u7edd\u5927\u591a\u6570\u5728\u53d1\u5c55\u4e2d\u56fd\u5bb6\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

As we strive to recover from COVID-19, let\u2019s end our war on nature. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u52aa\u529b\u4ece2019\u51a0\u72b6\u75c5\u6bd2\u75c5\u4e2d\u6062\u590d\u7684\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\u7ec8\u6b62\u5bf9\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u4f10\u631e\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

This will be critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, keeping within reach the 1.5-degree target of the Paris Agreement, and ensuring the health of our oceans for today\u2019s and future generations.<\/span><\/p>\n
